"Something's Up" In America's Big Berg
Selected Poems from The Alaska Mystery Collection
and The Tree Series
by Paula Marie Rose
All this Legal Breeze blowing down from the Big Berg, became a full on Cat 5 hurricane, once I filed the Motion for Justification for Denial of Visitation on October 2, 2008.
I'm still in the dark as to what's up with this, and when will I receive some answers to the numerous questions. I have received, and acknowledged, a signed extension for a request for additional time to reply (until October 31, 2008) which was granted by the Judge to Eric Swanson / Mr. Grant. Today is November 12, 2008 and I haven't received anything which specifically addresses my original questions and statements listed in this motion.
The Judge who signed our current Child Custody Agreement and Property Settlement Agreement in 2006 shall remain unnamed by me. The person on the bench during our 2006 divorce / dissolution hearing was not the actual Judge who signed those Agreements. I believe that it is standard court procedure for a lower level official to conduct some of the simple cases; as ours was at that time.
I'm fairly certain that the Judge who signed our original agreements in 2006, is very curious about how things have changed. They might be wondering why such a snowstorm of paper has landed on their desk, when their originally signed orders were very clear.
I have edited my signature, phone number, and have removed part of my daughter's name.
